Sol Moreno is a second-year graduate student in the Clinical Psy.D program at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Sol received her B.S in Psychology from the University of Georgia. During her time at UGA she joined multiple research labs that primarily focused on studying the family unit, parenting skills, and social determinants of health.

Sol has experience working with families and older adults. She has experience working in a hospice and palliative care unit where she monitored and assessed patients presenting with schizophrenia, dementia, major depressive disorder, anxiety, and grief/loss.

Sol’s interests are grounded in addressing and acknowledging the various external factors that can affect marginalized and underserved communities. She is passionate about using psychological assessment as a tool to understand the unique identities of her clients. She hopes to integrate the assessment findings with the client’s cultural, social, and developmental background to foster an individualized treatment. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
