Cecilia Teppema is an advanced clinical trainee with CORE. She received her master's degree in clinical psychology in 2025 from Adler University, where she is a fourth year Psy.D. student, and holds a bachelor's in psychology from University of Illinois at Chicago. Cecilia has clinical experiences with individuals of all ages in outpatient and partial hospitalization settings.
Cecilia's approach to therapy is informed by an eclectic set of sources, including objects relations traditions, feminist theory, ego psychology, and the unwavering belief that self-understanding begets a richer, fuller and more honest inner life. She constantly strives to ensure that the therapeutic relationship is a comfortable, egalitarian, and nonjudgmental one, and that cultural and individual differences are not only addressed but actively appreciated.
