Devanshee Parekh is a doctoral student in the Clinical Psy.D. program at The Chicago School. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a minor in Business Studies. She works with individuals across the lifespan, with diverse identities and backgrounds, and with a wide variety of presenting problems. She has a special interest in working with survivors of trauma. 

Devanshee has worked in a range of clinical settings, like the UIUC Counseling Center as a paraprofessional, where she facilitated mental health workshops for students and provided resources for psychological services. She also interned at a school for children with special needs, where she implemented sensory therapy and structured literacy programs. She was also a research assistant at the Language Acquisition Lab at UIUC and is currently a graduate assistant for the Naomi Ruth Cohen Institute at The Chicago School, where she advocates for mental health through workshops and conferences.
