Morgan Rader is a Clinical Psychology doctoral student at Adler University. Morgan received their bachelor’s degrees in neuroscience and psychology from Virginia Tech, with a minor in disabilities studies.

Morgan is particularly interested in approaching care through a culturally responsive lens, using the psychological assessment process to provide an in-depth understanding of one’s worldview as shaped by one’s identity spaces, culture, and experience. They are passionate about increasing access to care and advocating for youth with ADHD and autism who also identify as part of the LGBTQ community or hold other diverse identities.

Morgan has clinical experience with children, adolescents, young adults, and families from various backgrounds. At Virginia Tech, they worked as a research assistant in the CALMER Lab and as a lab manager for the JK Lifespan Development Lab, developing a strong foundation in psychological assessment with youth and young adults. They also worked as a mental health technician at the Children’s Hospital of The Kings Daughters, providing mental health support for youth and their families.
